My Story

Hello, my name is Maria Tjader and I am 43 years old. I am fortunate to live with my daughter by the sea in the South of England, a place that mirrors the sense of depth, reflection and flow I’ve cultivated in my life and work.

My journey of self-discovery began when I left Sweden after finishing school, seeking a new life and a sense of belonging. Sixteen years ago, I experienced an early midlife crisis that intensified this path—an awakening that challenged me to confront who I truly am, what I value, and how I want to live. For much of my early life, I felt lost, disconnected and disempowered. I didn’t have a clear sense of who I was, my roots, voice, or my place in the world.

As a child, I was socially awkward and often felt out of step with my surroundings. Though I grew up in a loving family, I struggled to feel a true sense of belonging. Friendships were fleeting, relationships with men were often unhealthy, my self-esteem and self-worth were fragile.

I was adopted from South Korea to Sweden at 18 months old, experiencing separation three times in my early life. These early experiences made it challenging for me to trust and form secure attachments. Not only with my adoptive parents but with others around me for many years. It was only after nearly 13 years of therapy, workshops, courses, and shamanic ceremonies that I began to fully understand and heal these patterns.

Through this journey, I have learned how to navigate life’s challenges with curiosity, courage and compassion. I now guide others to reconnect with themselves, uncover their authentic voice, heal generational and personal patterns that may be holding them back. My work blends mental and physical therapy, coaching, embodiment, creativity, intuitive and ancient practices, systemic and family constellations, to help individuals create a life of alignment, self-empowerment, deep connection and fulfilment.

 

My intentions in the world

What I value most in life are love, compassion, intimacy, connection, authenticity, trust, integrity, sovereignty, humility, honesty, family, community, adventure, mystery, playfulness, creativity, pleasure, harmony, and nature—essentially, anything that awakens a sense of aliveness.

My intention is to embody these values fully and hold space for others to reconnect with theirs. Together, we can co-create a blueprint for a more coherent and harmonious way of being—one that honours ourselves, each other, animals and the natural world.

I am deeply curious about the journey of discovering who we truly are, both human and spiritual selves. When we remember who we came here to be and connect with the people we were destined to meet, we open the door to becoming our fullest selves. True growth comes when we embrace both vulnerability and power, stepping into the kind of leadership the world urgently needs today.

  • Forest Therapy (Sylvotherapy) currently in training 2026

    Sylvotherapy, also known as forest or tree therapy, is a nature-based practice that nurtures connection between people and the living energy of trees. Rooted in mindfulness and presence, it invites participants to slow down, breathe deeply and attune to the natural rhythms of the forest. By engaging the senses and spending intentional time with trees, this practice supports relaxation, emotional balance and inner clarity. Sylvotherapy offers a simple yet profound way to restore harmony—encouraging calm, reconnection and wellbeing through the healing power of nature.

  • Myofascial Release (2026)

    Myofascial Release is a gentle, hands-on therapy that focuses on freeing restrictions within the body’s connective tissues, known as the fascia. Over time, tension, posture, or emotional stress can cause the fascia to become tight and constricted, leading to discomfort and reduced mobility. Through sustained pressure and slow, mindful movement, this approach helps to unwind these restrictions, restoring natural alignment and ease throughout the body. The result is greater flexibility, reduced pain and a profound sense of relaxation and balance that supports overall wellbeing.

  • Hot Stone Massage (2026)

    Hot Stone Massage is a deeply relaxing and nurturing therapy that combines traditional massage techniques with the gentle warmth of smooth basalt stones. As the heated stones glide across the body, their comforting temperature helps to melt away tension, ease muscle stiffness and promote circulation. The combination of heat and touch encourages the body to release stress on both physical and emotional levels, inviting calm, balance and a profound sense of wellbeing. This treatment offers a tranquil experience that soothes the body while quieting the mind.

  • Family Constellations (2016 & 2025)
    Family & Systemic Constellations is a powerful experiential approach that explores how unseen family dynamics and inherited patterns influence relationships, wellbeing and life choices. Through guided representation and embodied awareness, participants can uncover hidden loyalties, release systemic entanglements, find new pathways toward healing and balance. This work supports deeper understanding within families and communities, more clarity, compassion, healing and emotional freedom.

  • Authentic Relating (2020)
    This is a transformative practice that helps people build deeper, more genuine connections through openness, empathy and presence. Blending communication skills with guided relational exercises, it invites participants to explore vulnerability and understanding in a safe and supportive space. Those who take part often develop greater emotional intelligence, self-awareness and the ability to create meaningful relationships in both personal and professional settings.

  • Sound Healing – Gong Practitioner (2016)
    Sound Healing and Gong Baths offer a deeply restorative experience that uses vibration and frequency to bring the body and mind into harmony. As the soothing tones of gongs, singing bowls and other instruments resonate through the space, participants are invited into a meditative state that encourages relaxation, release and inner stillness. These sound journeys help reduce stress, balance energy, the nervous system and support the body’s natural capacity to heal. Leaving participants feeling grounded, calm, clear and renewed.

  • Theta Healing (2012)
    Theta Healing is a gentle yet powerful energy modality that works with the subconscious mind to release limiting beliefs and promote emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. By accessing the deeply meditative theta brainwave state, this practice facilitates transformation at the root level, helping to shift patterns and open new pathways for healing and growth. Many experience a renewed sense of clarity, peace and empowerment as they reconnect with their innate potential to create positive change from within.

  • Matrix Re-imprinting (2011)
    Matrix Reimprinting is an advanced evolution of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) that gently works with past memories to transform how they are held in the body and mind. By combining tapping with guided visualisation, this technique allows individuals to revisit and reframe challenging experiences in a safe and supportive way. Through this process, emotional charge is released, self-compassion deepens and a new empowering perspective emerges. Matrix Reimprinting helps create lasting shifts in wellbeing by integrating healing at both the subconscious and energetic levels.

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) (2011)
    EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), often known as ‘tapping’, is a simple yet effective method for releasing emotional blockages and reducing stress. By gently tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on certain thoughts or feelings, the body’s energy system is brought back into balance. This process helps calm the nervous system, ease anxiety and transform limiting beliefs, supporting emotional resilience and overall wellbeing. Many find EFT to be a practical tool for cultivating calm, clarity and self-empowerment in everyday life.

  • Life Coaching (2009)
    Life Coaching is a dynamic and supportive process that empowers individuals to clarify their goals, overcome challenges and create meaningful change in their personal and professional lives. Through guided conversation, reflection and practical tools, clients gain insight into patterns that may hold them back and discover strategies for moving forward with confidence and purpose. This approach cultivates self-awareness, motivation and accountability—helping people align their actions with their values, unlock their full potential for growth and fulfilment.

  • Angelic Reiki (2009)
    Angelic Reiki is an energy healing modality that has evolved beyond its traditional framework to become a deeply personal and intuitive practice. Rather than focusing on external beings, my approach connects directly with the individual’s own higher consciousness, inner wisdom and the healing energy surrounding us. Through gentle energy transmission and meditative awareness, it supports physical, emotional and spiritual balance, helping to clear energetic blockages and restore harmony within the whole self. This refined version nurtures self-trust and inner alignment, inviting a profound sense of peace and renewal from within.

  • Holistic Massage (2009)

    Holistic Massage is a therapeutic practice that treats the body, mind and spirit as a connected whole. More than simple relaxation, it encourages deep restoration by addressing physical tension, emotional stress and energetic imbalance together. Using mindful touch and intuitive techniques, this approach helps release stored tension, improve circulation and promote a sense of inner calm. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual, supporting overall wellbeing and inviting greater connection to the body’s natural rhythm and vitality.
